Options
For paper, a stencil or skin. The file holds the drawing only. The key link holds the layout, never your words.
Draw
Letters (pick one to move)
Drag a letter, or pick one and use the arrow keys. Turn it 15 degrees at a time.
Charge it and it fixes silver. Forgetting burns the print.
Charge
Charge it calm. Pace your breath with the ring and keep your eyes on the glyph.
Stress gnosis, staring until the glyph swims, is left out on purpose. I charge mine calm. It costs nothing to come back from.
Print it now if you burn paper. After the next step the glyph is gone.
Release
Forget it on purpose. The color drains, the glyph burns off the screen, and a receipt prints with no intent and no glyph on it.

What this is
The Sigil Foundry is a free sigil generator for chaos magic that runs entirely in your browser. It turns one sentence of intent into a glyph by the wheel, grid or monogram method, walks you through charging and forgetting it, and files a receipt with a check-back date.
How the Sigil Foundry works
Write one sentence, present tense, up to 80 characters. The Foundry flags the wording that sabotages the order, "I want", "I will try" and negatives, and offers a stronger rewrite. Take it or leave it.
Then it crosses out the repeated letters one at a time, so you watch the sentence stop reading as a want. What's left gets drawn by the wheel, grid or monogram method. Reroll until you can't read the intent in the mark. If you can still read it, so can the part of you that would keep picking at it.
Charge is a breathing ring on a timer: one to five minutes, box breath or 4-7-8. Print the glyph first if you burn paper, because Release takes it off the screen for good. The color drains. The glyph burns away. A receipt prints with a date on it and nothing of the intent.
The picture is only step three. This page runs all five, Write, Reduce, Draw, Charge, Release, in your browser, and sends nothing anywhere. Every working ends with a check-back date, a calendar file if you want one, and an entry in the Log, which exports as a file you keep.
Start with a job small enough to check, like sleeping through the night. Pick a job that can fail, or the receipt has nothing to tell you. The method behind each step is written out in how to make a sigil.
Sigil generator questions
What is a chaos magic sigil generator?
A tool that turns a written intent into one mark you can charge and forget. The method goes back to Austin Osman Spare's The Book of Pleasure, 1913: write the desire as a sentence and combine its letters into one simplified mark. Striking out the repeated letters is the common later way to do the combining, and it's what this one does. A hundred-odd years old, and it still fits on a phone screen.
Does the sigil generator send my intent anywhere?
No. It runs in your browser, and what you type never leaves the page. The receipt keeps a date and drops the intent and the glyph both. Nothing was sent, so there's nothing out there to leak.
How do I make a sigil from a sentence?
Write the want as if it's already true. Cross out every repeated letter. Draw what's left as one mark. The Foundry does the cutting and the drawing, and the guide has the long version.
Wheel, grid or monogram: which drawing method should I use?
Any of the three. The test is the same for all of them: if you can still read the intent in the finished mark, reroll or redraw. Pick the one you don't mind staring at, because the charge is a few minutes of exactly that.
Why does a sigil have to be forgotten?
Because checking on it puts back the meaning the reduction took out. Every peek reattaches the want. So you destroy the mark, go do something dull, and look again on the check-back date. Once.
What happens to the receipt after I release it?
It's filed in your Log with a check-back date. On the day, mark the working Held, Partly or Nothing. The Log exports as a file, so the record can outlive the browser.
